Also if anyone has Canadian Radio charts I'd love to see it for my country. It's harder to find the information online than it is for the US

Yas!!!! I’ve been checking radio updates everyday! Couldn’t believe when it hit top 50, then couldn’t believe it when it hit top 40. Now TOP 30?!

hells ya! I’m not sure how much further it’ll be able to climb - but what an amazing achievement!! Let’s go!!!!

we all gotta start listening to the radio and calling in/etc. and get this song requested and played as much as we can! It probably won’t hit #1 but this is also how songs on radio rise. Let’s go monsters!

I just went onto the website of Miami’s #1 largest radio station Y100 and Bloody Mary was shown as playing on air currently!! Took a listen and after the song the host said, “I can’t stop listening to that one!”

WINNING!!!

Radio really doesn’t deserve the power it has… it’s only controlled by boomers who are always too late to the party

Regardless. Charts are to measure a songs popularity and access.

Regardless if ppl are late to discover something or not, its only accurate to measure it I don't think it's fair to cherry pick generations habits

Boomers habits have to be measured too :enigma:

Not entirely true. Perhaps with the younger generation.

Nielsen reports that radio still reaches 93% of the American population. That includes 93% of the 18+ population and 98% of the 50 and over crowd. The

18-34 demo is the lowest, but still stands at 87% according to Nielsen. The ratings firm concludes that

"only AM/FM radio can deliver the scale advertisers need."

Aka, Radio still matters. Blows my mind too, I know!

Not surprised tbh.

I have my Spotify and listen to the radio less than years ago. But sometimes I still put it on in the car here and there. Sometimes if I'm too lazy to make a playlist. Sometimes if I just feel like it
