Not hating on Ava, I think she is interesting but she needs to step out of THE pop-dance comfort zone and be herself.

She reminds me when Nicki got mad for the Gaga comparisons and she was literally doing this...

Ehhh... Lady Gaga had pretty much the same face from before The Fame dropped up until the BTW prosthetics were attached to her face. It's just different makeup. Of course she's had stuff done by now but we're like 15 years into her career at this point

My thing with Ava is that she is obviously inspired by Gaga and she is constantly denying it It's not a bad thing to have influences, everybody does! ****ing own it! Be the first to give credit to your references, it's not ugly, it's not a weakness, things are never created from scratch in art, just accept that your ideas come from somewhere, add your own touch to it, give credit when credit is due and be proud of you made from you have been given, it's not that hard. Gaga always did that. She was always clear that she has been heavily influenced by Bowie, Madonna, Grace Jones, Britney... Her point with Madonna was that she acted like Gaga was trying to steal her throne and that was never the goal, Gaga was never mad at being compared to Madonna per se. You can do you own thing, have your own throne, and still be inspired by Gaga, those are not mutual exclusive things.

Yeah Ava credited every popstar under the sun but Gaga's one when asked about her influences yet she was instantly called the new Gaga way outside this fanbase.

She probably was told to not mention Gaga as a reference to diminish the comparisons but it made it worst.
