The thing that irks me about Ava is that she just outright denies the similarities. Gaga embraced the Madonna influence, but wanted people to see the difference too. Ava pretends they don't exist whatsoever, as if it was just about a singular haircut or height. I like her music, according to Apple Music I've listened to the new album 150 times.
