This may be her best album? I don’t know if I’m saying this because it’s new and refreshing, I guess I’ll have to spend more time with it - but I’m definitely not disappointed. I appreciate that there’s still flourishes of classical Mel sound, but elevated and evolved.
My only major gripe so far is with the way she’s choosing to transition some songs, while I appreciate how seamlessly they connect as a whole front to back - they sound a little out of place when listening to songs singularly. I think she should have made the transitions into interludes (poor Tunnel Vision having one in the beginning and one at the end).

My thoughts exactly! listening to the songs on their own sound off due to the many interludes attached to songs, Tunnel Vision got the worst of it I feel

The album is insane, pretty different than anything she’s done at least I think, my favorites have to be Womb, light shower, the contorsionst, and TV. It’s gonna be on replay IRL and in my head for the rest of the year for sure

Agreed! Tunnel Vision & The Contortionist have been on loop in my mind all day, I'm obsessed with it!
