So apparently a bunch of private texts leaked from Fox News Hosts leaked as a part of the Dominion Lawsuit… and wow… apparently they don’t believe the **** they say on TV

Story: Essentially, after the Trump lost the election, Fox News started going the normal route, while psychos online started saying the election was rigged. The ultra-capitalist kooks at FN saw that, noticed their ratings were tanking, and so decided actively switch their messaging…

Aka willfully lie.

Tucker literally calls Trump demonic

This essentially proves the people at Fox News are so morally bankrupt that they don’t care what they push nor thr terrible impact it has in society. Fox News is literally a propaganda network :messga:

Insane lol what will the lawsuit lead to?

Hopefully a defamation win for Dominion… which is a hard case to win in the U.S, but damn these personal texts are damning against Fox News

This is literally what propaganda is. LITERALLY.

Scary part is that idk if this is enough evidence to wake many people up

I'm a conservative (socially liberal though) and even I thought Fox News was a nightmare for the center/center-right during and after 2016.

Trump overpromised a lot to the lower-middle and working class (esp. rust belt), targeted the wrong issues to get media attention, and set off an unproductive tribal culture that's trickled across parties. I thought I was the only one who thought this, but a surprising amount of conservatives I've met have bit their tongue so many times and are relieved.

I'm glad he's on his way out and Fox is being called out for this. I'm just praying DeSantis isn't next the leader (which sadly he's likely going to be). I'd prefer Joe and Kamala to get another term and keep those swing voters.

They wouldn’t wake up if tucker literally came on saying “I’ve been lying this entire time” they’d somehow find a way to make it about “liberals brainwashing”

The Daily Beast doesn’t seem to have a good reputation just by googling it

Yeah, but these texts and communications were released as part of a court filing against Fox and have been widely covered by multiple news sources.

We have forgotten our public MANNERS

I really am not seeing it for him at the moment, and that's coming from someone who tends to be pessimistic when it comes to this sort of thing.

He doesn't have much conservative support anymore. He has MAGA support. He effectively split the Republican party in half between the Forever Trumpers and your average run of the mill Republicans. He was never supremely popular with the latter to start with but they were party loyalists so they voted for him in 2016. But across his 4 years, and especially since he lost the election, he's lost them. He's propped up by his base which is very large and very vocal, but not enough to win him an election.

The ones that've jumped ship on Trump have moved to DeSantis who is a concerning piece on the chessboard, but he has not been tested on a national level. He is successful in Florida, but it's impossible to tell how much of that is down to just who lives there (old, white retirees and oddly conservative Latinos who're strong outliers from the same demographic in other states) or because his policy and persona are actually digestible. It's more than likely the former. DeSantis has proven himself a poor debater and poor negotiator. If he debates Trump, he'll lose and badly, not that I think it'll matter much.

But the Republican party by and large isn't going to want to nominate Trump. No matter how much lip service they pay him, parties don't tend to re-run losing candidates, especially if they were an incumbent. That and after how horribly the midterms went for them (like historically bad), they're going to want to course correct and bring in someone who they believe can be more appealing to the average conservative which would be DeSantis.

MAGA hates DeSantis because Trump does. He's currently spreading the assertion that DeSantis is a pedophile. If DeSantis secures the Republican nomination, Trump will either run as a third party and pull votes away or he will publicly work against the election because he'll claim the same thievery and riggery in the Republican primary that he did with the 2020 election. Regular conservatives will vote DeSantis, MAGA will vote Trump if he's third party, neither will get enough votes, and the Democrats sail back in for a second term; that's the ideal and at this point entirely possible scenario.

If Trump secures the Republican nomination at this point, it'll be because DeSantis truly went so far off the rails that even they don't think he could win.

I relate and agree with everything you said.

1) We been knew? Fox people literally defend themselves in court against defamation and misinformation suits by saying "no one in their right minds would believe what we say" and they label themselves as an entertainment network, not news.

2) This will change absolutely nothing lmao. Conservatives are so stupid in this country Trump could spit on them and they'd consider it a baptism.

Whimsical bitch
