What confuses me is that these demos sound so 2018. Why would she release them now? Hopefully she doesn’t go that specific R&B/pop direction. 

The Pharrell session happened during a very early stage of writing for FN. New album is going in a different direction, they’re just concerned that new stuff might leak soon

I mean, Albums being leaked before they officially drop is pretty standard at this point and almost a sign of recognition I feel in a way 😁

The sheer amount of Dua Lipa leaks there are means something or someone is compromised in her camp.  The leaks won’t stop until you root it out.

It’s pretty common for an artist or producer to share what they’re working on with others and it can be passed around but Dua’s material leaks so quickly

I think she can definitely survive a Stupid Love moment though! The biggest surprise is what gender of music she’ll be doing for LP3 

FN also leaked if I remember correctly and they had to release it sooner than it was supposed to come out and still managed to be one of the biggest pop eras of recent years

Agreed, but I think it's time for artists and labels to realize that leaks don't mean a song is useless. Look at what happened to I'm Blue: The demo went viral because it was good and instead of issuing takedown notices, Guetta and Bebe made a final version and it became their biggest hit in years.

I’m Good (Blue) didn't leak. Guetta played this song during his set in 2017.
