This; I love Shakira and I'm a fan (I follow her more than Jlo) but her performance just wasn't it for me..

I just feel like she could have done way better as she's a great performer, but her set, outfits and playback was just meh . You could that that Jlo, on the other hand, tackled all of these nicely (and she doesn't even have such a big catalogue). 

Now, to me the actual downside of their halftime was the unnecessary guests as: 1) they had little time because they had to share and 2) they were irrelevant; they should've brought someone they had a song with

Anyways, pregnant or not pregnant, the performance was ok. Like many said, it's visually appealing (and probably one of the sleekest sets in terms of the stage design) but it just becomes boring as there are no real changes or things happening. The setlist was the real weak spot I think; she had so many hits and decided to sing other songs that didn't deserve to be there as well as take a lot of time for the dance breaks; but I guess it's done haha

Honestly I don’t really get all the hate for her…? It’s a pretty nice production over all, she sounds great, she picked songs people know and remember. Is she a crazy dancer with back flips and splits? No. Does she has to be? Hell no! If you know your body can’t handle certain things then don’t do them. 

Also, why not trashing the male performer over the years if they don’t do 13mins of high energy performance while singing? I can’t with y’all

...have you been in this site for the past years?  we definitely do. Though on a societal sense it is true that more is expected from female performers.

Well, from what I’ve read it very much feels like it. By pointing out basically only the negative and holding her to a made up standard. I felt her performance was very much in line with her entire brand, laid back, a million dancers and ok-good vocals. Therefor we got exactly what was excepted from her imo. Anyway.. 

and yes, I have been on this site for a day or two, doesn’t mean I have to ignore the more unpleasant sides of it 😅

Kindly revisit the fault of inductive reasoning, just because last year's performance was good for you, doesn't follow that you would also like the next one.

A fallacy shouldn't affect a performance, in this case, Rihanna's. What have we become? We're deploring performances just because it didn't live up to our expectations - our faulty thinking.

It wasn’t bad AT ALL! Ofc we can all have different opinions, but I believe she gave a very good performance. Lip syncing or not, the GP doesnt really care, we should know that by know. There are some bad comments like always, but most people are loving how relaxed and different it is from other super bowls! 
 

I expected muuuch more dancing, but ok she’s pregnant so I get it. The stage is definitely one of my faves. I love the runway aspect of it, very smart 

Whole a lot of artists give their”all” and end up sounding out of breath/tired most of the time, and try to get as many songs as they can in those 13 minites (ends up looking and sounding rushed), I feel like RiRi played it smart and gave us sth different !

I feel like this also opens the door to a lot of other artists who could do the Superbowl now who have this laidback/chill way ofnperforming

So years ago I would hear this "waaa wa wa wa" song on the radio, and I always thought it was Work by Rihanna, but the "work work work work work work" part would never come so I understood that it was a whole other song, and I poked fun at the fact that it kind of sounded like Work. Today I learnt that the "wa wa wa" song is actually another Rihanna song and it's called Wild Thoughts

I just watched it now and I am very underwhelmed. The dancers were amazing, but the setlist was not that great imo, felt like a Tommy Sunshine Megamix. The overall energy was just weird, Rihanna didn't sing any of the big parts of the songs, the sound mix was off. Even for Rihanna's standards, I expected more. But I don't feel like posting anywhere else that I didn't like it, I love that I can speak my mind on here and then on my other socials if I don't like something, I won't post about it. Gagadaily is my vent space haha.

...did anyone else catch her lipsyncing? There was one or two times where she stopped too fast and you could definitely tell that it was a lipsync. I mean I don't mind the performance but it would have been more impressive if she actually sang her songs.
