I think what kinda killed the performance was cramming wayyyy too many songs. I think it’s better when artists pick like 5 or 6 and focus on them. old sanuk 351 Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 I didn’t “get” Rihanna, ever, and never really liked her music, and thought her vocals unremarkable. I watched the SB show, was intrigued, and now I think I get her. Her stage presence was aglow, and she seemed so comfortable and happy to be performing with an infectious smile. I recognized several of her song hooks and enjoyed her staging and production. Her voice I think is an acquired taste, and I kinda like her now, overall. Anyone who was expecting her to do something massive...why? When has that ever been what Rihanna has done? Why all of the sudden would she switch up her whole performance style? Anyway, production wise this is the best a halftime show has looked. This stage is best stage we've seen for one of these gigs.
