I feel like she is still not appreciate at the level she deserve.
Lana has maybe (or for sure) the best albums in the last 10 years. She is unique when comes to her music style, has such a great voice, and her music videos are pure art, especially for the first 2 eras.
I don't understand why she never won a Grammy?! She deserve a lot of awards.
I love her interaction with the fans. She is the most kind, humble, nice artist with her fans. And this is another thing that I love about her.
I really hope one day l am gonna see her live, 'cause that would be a dream come true.

I don’t think she’s underrated. She has a huge fan base for an indie/alternative artist. She was actually lucky that her first album took off like that commercially. That’s how she was able to build such a big fan base and public interest. And since NFR she’s also getting the critical acclaim that she deserves. Yes, she’s never won a Grammy but a lot of big names and legends of the music industry have never won one.

I don’t think she’s care about the fame or notoriety. She’s strictly about making music she resonates with, writing poetry and hanging out with her close friends and family. She fully deserves a Grammy regardless!!!

She has a huge fanbase (I mean, you say you love her in every thread so we kinda got that part 😂) and she's not underrated at all, she just prefers to keep a lower profile compared to other artists

The whole concept of being under or overrated is overrated tbh.

i dont think shes underrated anymore. the only thing shes still lacking is a grammy, and its obvious that's bothering her. i hope she finally gets one, sooner tather than later.

I can't get over the fact that Born to Die wasn't one of the most awarded albums of that year.

I know. That album is one of the best albums ever.

She's not as underrated as she used to be but she should have been acclaimed by critics from day one. They were so unfair and sexist when she started out, just because she's a millionaire's daughter and therefore he must have bought her career, surely? Perhaps if her singing ability was better and not so nervous at the start, these suggestions wouldn't have been as prevalent but it didn't help. Young, attractive male artists with average voices who debut aren't subject to this line. If you're a guy, you're considered genuine until it's proven that you aren't. When you're a woman, it's the opposite. Her extremely mixed reception for Born To Die is shocking, this is the kinda music that critics should love and it should have swept every awards show going. Luckily, most treated her better than the Grammys. If it hadn't been for her debut being so beloved by the public, critics would never have given her second album a chance, but she continued to improve her critical acclaim with time, which was such a joy to see. But it shouldn't have taken people this long to realise she was the real deal, it was clear from the start when she had written all her songs. But guaranteed, if she started out today, she would be praised. But in 2012, we still had a long way to go when it came to respecting female artists especially when it came to their input and autonomy. I hope and pray she'll get a Grammy one day. But she should have got loads by now. The annoying thing is, the academy have awarded artists who have stated what an inspiration she is to them or were so clearly inspired by her (Lorde, Billie, Taylor) but won't reward the blueprint. But that's not exactly a surprise. The Grammys have a long history of rewarding the students but not the teachers.

I'm tired of the underrated comments about a lot of artists. Some artists are rated exactly where they want to be. She has millions of listeners and sells out tours when she goes on them. Just because someone doesn't get constant GP notoriety or Grammys doesn't mean they're underrated.
