TheBeast 1,579
I will never forgive Ron DeSantis for starting this wave of homophobic legislature. While he isn't the first, I know he's probably the most influential politician with anti-lgbtqia+, racist and xenophobic views in modern times. I hope the ripple ends here and no other states follow suit. I know that is probably not going to be the case though. You can't hide who you are, 11:59. I've been in education for 16 years. A lot of that in 5th grade. We do puberty education and that is all. And we get parent permission for that. I remember my “sex ed” in one of the most liberal cities in state, it consisted of then showing us a rap song that mentioned sex and how it was “inappropriate” and then they passed around a banana with a condom and told us not to have sex 11 minutes ago, NCgaga said: C’mon NC, we corrected the McCrory BS, Cooper will veto for sure. Funniest part is that McCrory literally got voted out because of a transphobic bill

This bill is saying we are teaching that at an elementary age...which as far as I know is very inaccurate. Although, I guess I have always taught in mostly conservative areas. 25 minutes ago, NCgaga said: C’mon NC, we corrected the McCrory BS, Cooper will veto for sure. The only reason that was overturned, for the most part at least, was because the ACC tournament was going to leave the state and the state was about to loss a lot of other businesses as well. Is there a way we can tie money to this bill in a bad way? (I'm sure there are some kind of perks these law makers are getting somehow.) she/her/hers

Are you counting your time learning as a student? Because you literally do not look old enough to be teaching that long OT, it doesn't sound like it'll pass. If it does, I feel like the next few years are going to change everything anyways as more Boomers become ineligible to vote and the younger generation is able to. Though I feel horrible for those stuck in that between time that will have to suffer in silence.
