Bad Bunny has the most commercially successful and culturally significant album of this decade so far. It’s also the first Spanish album in history to be nominated for AOTY. He deserves it the most.

I base my decision on which album I listen to the most daily. So, Coldplay.

But I think the other artists in this category have had more cultural impact with their albums and are more likely to get that award.

I think Renaissance and Un Verano Sin Ti are the best albums of the bunch hands down, imo, I think those two deserve it the most. I'd give Renaissance the edge just a tad, I think it's a solid cover to cover effort and feels much tighter and explosive, whereas UVST feels meandery/sags in some places. But both are amazing and I think deserve it the most.

I've loved Kendrick since Section.80, and I've loved each of his releases up until Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. There were some bangers on here, and as a whole it should be the phenomenal album it appears to be at first glance. But there's a friction with it that doesn't feel quite as good as DAMN/TPAB/GKMC. idk. Not his best work.

The other nominees just straight out don't deserve it imo, especially Harry's House and 30. Both of those albums are so boring and middling it's unbelievable, they'd win purely on their artists' star power imo.

Bad Bunny. Every track on that album is a party in its own right. It makes you want to dance your heart out all night. For me, 30 is a little too watered down, Harry’s House is a little too manufactured, and Renaissance feels like it’s missing a personal touch from Beyoncé.
