Toompea Hill The history of Toompea is closely entwined to the history of rulers and power in Estonia, nowdays Toompea is the centre. 4. Tallinna Raekoja Plats This picturesque square has been the heart of city life for eight centuries, first as a medieval market. 5. Aleksander Nevski Katedraali This magnificent onion domed structure celebrating the Orthodox Church stands tall and proud on Toompea HilL. 6.
