This song aged incredibly well and no, I don't care if you disagree

I posted about this on GGD some years ago, saying her album was ahead of its time, in retrospect. When it originally came out, I was so bewildered by it, not understanding what she was going for and finding it all so bad (apart from Summertime which is still a jam). I just didn't get it...but all these years later, I totally get it. Doesn't mean I like it but now I don't even find it weird or experimental, it just sounds like so much of the more avant garde hip hop now. That wasn't happening in 2012 but it's all the rage now so what she did was actually a precursor of what was to come. I mean, I'd never even heard the word "twerking" in 2012, I'd only ever heard it referred to as booty shaking and her song introduced me to this as yet-unheard of phrase. The word was definitely not in widespread mainstream usage at the time as when twerking became a big deal a few years later, there was a media sensation around this "new" dance craze and some even tried to say Miley invented the trend! Kreshawyn's music definitely wasn't for everyone but her experimental style was a pretty new thing in hip hop at the time and was seen as weird at the time but it wouldn't look out of place today. A surprisingly ahead of her time artist.
