I think it's a good thing because her tour is coming close to my city where just two days ago someone shot people at a local high school here.

ughhhhhh I hate that she changed that part seriously I get the whole respect thing but the show has NOTHING to do with any mass shooting or anything related to the events that happened..

To ask such question I think it's pretty fair to be called by that word. Sorry I'm not sorry.

Oh, hun I support you entirely. I was just trying to make myself look better than you to avoid more warnings. :D

I mean, who the **** cares that she removed the guns? They were tacky to begin with. And you can't expect people to be sensitive to your plight if you aren't going to listen to theirs. Yall kill me.

I think people are very...touchy when it comes to guns in America. I'm pretty sure she's doing this out of respect for the people who have very strong personal beliefs about gun control and strong opinions and connections to the recent gun violence. She wants to provide her audience with the best show possible and she can't do that if the presence of guns makes half the audience uncomfortable or upset. She's not going to cause such a controversy for the sake of publicity. She's had reasons for causing whatever controversy she's caused in the past (controversy caused by Alejandro video = symbolism duh, Judas controversy = it's just a metaphor get over it, meat dress = "I'm not just a piece of meat", etc.). With the guns, it woulda been something she had no reason for. She's not pulling a Madonna. I'm happy about this

I understand why she did it, would be cool to replace it with a medieval axe or flail though

uhh maybe its cuz she'll be promoting a tour in NORTH AMERICA the next few months, and considering recent events, the last thing we need to see is more guns. I know some of you think that america shouldn't be so dramatic, and that **** like this happens everyday, and blah blah blah, but obviously being a super power, or at least popular to a degree, you can't just act like our problems are irrelevant. Even though it won't change what happened, and gaga had nothing to do with the shootings, it was an act of compassion, and respect for those who don't want to deal with seeing more violence.

EDIT: To the ****ing ignorant people on here, it is because of the Sandy Hook shooting which killed 26 people including 20 elementary students.

Do you know every event that happens around the world? Just because US is one of the most important countries in the world it doesn't means that everybody should know about US news. Calling "****ing ignorant people" is not a sign of good education.

The thing is, if you look at the first page, most of those comments come from people who are from the US. Or people who ask me for RECEIPTS.

Yeah, getting mad because people were asking dumb questions about 7 years olds being killed is not a "sign of good education."

But that's not a reason to get that mean.
