Basically what she’s saying is she’s tired of coming to IG every time to explain herself, about the way the press and family want Britney to be seen as. She is first and foremost a person.

What if she was encouraged by her therapist/s to go out in public and have a nice meal with the man she loves, only to experience a humiliating circus nightmare? Her trust and healing progress just got harder after this, and all this without us knowing where she’s currently at with it.

What therapist?

God I love her. It's like.....real. It's so funny how being real is seen as crazy and mental now. The irony of people always talking about therapy and mental health issues this day and age is that many people tend to both stigmatize and alienate people by projecting their own beliefs about mental health on to others...when the journey of your mental health is just that...your journey and your journey alone. You know better than anyone else what goes on in your mind. It is not anyone else's to define. So good for you Britney, and good for anyone else who is really themselves and not changing themselves for anyone else's trendy idea of being healthy. Everyone is different and that should be celebrated and supported! Britney Spears is a legend and a gem and more authentic than 90% of the artists America has **** out in the past 25 years. And I'm not changing my mind on that.

it's interesting after all these years to finally get such an insight to what she's really thinking and how she actually feels when this happens..

to me, it sounds like she is extremely strong having to deal with this blatant constant PR bashing she's received her entire career.

this post makes me hopeful for her actually having to deal with these people, which i'm so glad for, she's stronger than she knows

I agree.  It’s nice to hear her stand up for herself.  Unlike in the past she couldn’t publicly voice how she felt.  She deserves to speak her truth.  Of course her healing journey is still ongoing but I’m hopeful for her.

Can the other megastars such as Gaga and Beyoncé who rarely have been seen in restaurants (I think they go out to eat right? Or are they starving at home?), tell her the intimate and private places to go?

I'm sorry but I don't blame people taking pictures of her, she's a famous person. If you want to go in a crowded place, then don't complain about the pictures and the videos. It's simple.

Yeah but wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could get to a place where people learn to respect celebrities privacy in public .  I know it sounds impossible, but I hope that the more celebrities voice their frustration in regards to this, hopefully us non celebrities will learn to leave them alone and contain our excitement and remain calm.

Not sure what the extent of the drama was, but unfortunately she was never going to be left alone in this situation. I'm also confused by the Natural Born Killers analogy.

Tbh it feels like she’s comparing how we are as a society to the movie and the vulture mindset, whether we physically or mentally k!ll people with stuff like this. Paparazzi, tearing people down, calling them manic or crazy, etc

You said it, it's impossible. And knowing that right now it's impossible, if that is a thing that bothers you, you just have to avoid crowded places.

Here in Italy some months ago people dragged a female rapper because she took twitter to say that she refused to take a picture with a fan because she was eating with her family. In that case I sided with her, but that's ugly part of being famous.

Poor Britney. I can’t imagine all the hard work she’s doing behind the scenes to better her mental state. I wish people were more kind towards her. Like, imagine being a slave for your whole family while they and the media labels you a lunatic for over a decade. And then, when you finally get set free, you realize alllllll the hard work that must be done to undo all the trauma. All the work to mature yourself past whatever stage of life she stopped maturing (because of the fame, the medía, being virtually enslaved at such a young age). And on top of all of that, you have the media and random people online and offline trying to paint you as a maniac. God, I wish her nothing but the best from now on. She deserves a happy life.
