The word musical at first glance makes people think of cheesy romance movies but that’s really just a stereotype, even ASIB was a musical yet did it feel like the image of one? Diane Warren is such a juggernaut of a songwriter, you can’t help but laugh at the snubs she’s had to endure throughout her career at the Oscars. It’s comical at this point. Hildur, Gaga, Diane are all in the music branch at the Oscars- Hildur is 1/1 Gaga 1/2 Warren 0/13 (1 honorary)….. She should have won one back in 1998 for I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing, if only the producers used it in Armageddon instead of just putting it on the soundtrack for the film. So this really is going to be new territory for her!
