Not supporting Kim’s music will have no impact on how soon Kesha’s contract with dr Luke ends. She is willingly working with a known rapist. So yeah, I fully support anyone coming in and making #freekesha statements in threads about artists who are willingly working with Luke lol I’m glad this one isn’t produced by Luke tho, hopefully this is a sign that Kim is breaking ties with him. Maybe she’s finally realizing that working with a rapist in return for cute gay bops isn’t worth it any longer, and is exploring other talented producers. Why should she apologize for dr Luke doing what Kesha claims he did. It just feels like there is a double standard towards Kim. Remember when lady Gaga willing worked with r Kelly even though the whole world was award of the child r@pe allegations? Yes gaga apologized for it but Gaga wasn’t responsible for what r Kelly did. She shouldn’t apologize for the Luke did because she has zero to do with that, but she should apologize for willingly working with him after Kesha come forth with the sexual abuse, and countless other artists (like Pink and Kelly Clarkson) come forth and revealed he was controlling/verbally abusive too. Like, why would you (kim) as a woman be okay with openly supporting an abusive rapist? When there’s countless other pop producers who haven’t abused women before? Do I think Kim should be canceled? No. Do I think she should ditch that rapist of a producer? Yes. and like I said, she seems to be slowly breaking away from Luke, seeing as her last 3 songs haven’t been touched by him. Hopefully it’s a sign that she’s moving on from him and is working with other producers from now on so that we can finally fully support her career.
