HermioneT 1,990 Posted January 9, 2023 Share Posted January 9, 2023 I did not grew up in the US and therefore only learned about the Ellen Show when I was around 17 as my best friends at that time where very interested in various US actresses and stated watching it. I can remember looking it up online and watching it on YT and I was soo uncomfortable and embarrassed that I couldn't even watch it longer than some minutes. To this day it baffles me that people considered something like that as entertainment/ humour. (Yeah, I grew up sheltered, but also was made fun off often enough as kid and I really can't see people making fun of other for entertainment/ fun. It just feels wrong). You have to keep in mind that Taylor didnt bring this up herself . she had ellen in her video cuz she has probably had other great moments with Ellen that overshadow this one but ofcourse people won't rehash those .
