Bolsonaro and his supporters are literally the dollar store version of Trump and his supporters.

And in the same way as in the US, the police is basically escorting them in!

There are conflicting and confusing accounts of what the police did that day at the U.S. Capitol, but in at least some cases, they fought back pretty hard, and took serious risks to defend it.

Scary. Hope everyone is ok and that the federal intervention works to bring back a sense of normality

Luckily, Brazil's Congress wasn't in session and Lula wasn't there. They called the anti-riot police and are ensuring the building is secure.

Yeah, I know, just caught it in the news. It's higly suspicious how they got into the building in the first place, since it's supposed to have security full time. Brasilia's government is and will be under heavy scrutiny

Who is Bolsanero?

Google is free, but I'll tell you anyway: He's the far-right, former president of Brazil. He's a very Trumpian figure who spread lies, similar to Trump's, that the election that he just recently lost was stolen from him. He's notoriously criminal and, out of fear of prosecution from the incoming administration, fled to the US to attempt to avoid any charges related to his corruption.
