I don't think that it is fair to a fan who probably didn't realise she was crossing a line since he was even smiling at the camera and just straight up switched up on her. It looks like Bad Bunny was just walking from point A to point B with an entourage. He is not performing, standing around to meet fans, or soliciting attention. Just because he’s existing outside the house doesn’t mean he’s making a “public appearance”. Throwing a fan’s phone is extreme, yes, but so is shoving a phone in his face and being entitled to selfies with someone you’ve never met. She initiated that and it’s ****ing rude. I can wager that he deals with that every day and we will never really understand how annoying that can be. The lesson here is that boundaries apply to all people. He probably needed to do that so that people understand that entitlement has consequences.

Chlorine 47,975
Also she was literally just walking with him. She wasn’t even being obnoxious. It’s so weird to see people defending toxic masculinity when it’s their fav.

It is probable that neither she nor his team realised how annoying her behavior was seeing as he was smiling at her camera and his team didn't even try to stop her from getting cleose . To snap at a fan like that to me is excessive like you pointed out and isn't how I'd want someone i look up to handle situations I'm all for respecting boundaries but you have to be realistic about the kind of industry you're are in and what comes with it and the best way to handle situations. Every one here is trolling her but his security was wrong for even letting her get so close if he was not in the mood for pictures and he was wrong for throwing her phone like that when he could have just walk past her. Yeah, I think two things are valid here. It’s valid for someone to have to be rude to make a point about violating space, especially when it’s a recurring theme in someone’s life. It’s ALSO valid for the fan to no longer look up to him because of this incident. I don’t think the fan deserves to be villainized, it’s just a learning experience for her. This constant whining over everything is not only annoying, it’s harmful. Keep your social critique to actual accounts of misogyny. I'm not whining about somebody else "whining". I'm just pointing out some observations. Maluma and some other Latino/Hispanic (male) celebrities have done stuff like this (with the exception of Tziano Ferro, he got cancelled before the cancel culture was even a thing) The Mexican press have been terrible to some of the pop girls . Bad Bunny is international and because of his huge fanbase, he can't get cancelled that easily. Back to the topic, they were both wrong IMO.

Battle 4 Ur Life 6,457
so this is how this played out. first she was invasive and rude on her approach to AN ARTIST SHE LIKES AND PROBABLY WOULD HAVE NEVER GOTTEN THE CHANCE TO GET CLOSE TO (He’s not some random guy in the street like a lot of you REACHED SO FAR in order to justify his AGGRESSION) and since he’s a conceited toxic he took advantage of her poor behavior to show he’s not really understanding of fans who may be excessive. so he was WAY MORE EXCESSIVE than her. you don’t touch other people’s s*. he could have even pushed her away lightly and it would have been decent. he could have stopped and talked to her she was bothering him if he feels it was disrespectful to him as a human being (he didn’t when he was on camera tho, he posed for that first). but he wanted to show off how much of a cocky ******* he is (once the camera was away of course). absolute trash behavior. she was downright dumb and rude too but you don’t fight dumb with aggression. this is a red flag. he’s capable of much worse. Battle 4 Ur Life 6,457
even bieber which I don’t like never did something like this. I seriously hope his career takes a hit for this. he’s not that great anyway, his songs sound mostly all the same. Smash With a Smile
YouCanSitWithUs 394
Honestly Bad Bunny can put my phone wherever the **** he wants. Wherever. Where.Ever.He.Wants. And girls, don't pretend like you haven't done worse when you were drunk at least once. He threw some rich girl's phone. Bye. Why is this news? Flint, MI still doesn't have clean water and you wanna check the privilege of a rap star who is actually progressing the conversation about queerness in hip hop and latin music. Y'all need to get better at picking your enemies.
gumzy3000 7,022
I don't think Gaga or most other celebrities have ever thrown a fan's phone like that. Also, he doesn't even seem bothered with the attention by the looks of it. I think most people would assume he looks neutral. If he was so annoyed and getting to the point of throwing someone's phone away, he could have first said "no", "move away" or brushed her off or call his security. Taking her phone like that and just throwing it is so rude and unkind. Gaga (the kindness queen she is) would disapprove. Hilarious how some of you are defending a celebrity and asking "what would you do in this situation"... as if your basic life is anything like Bad Bunny's whose dealt with fans/paparazzi/fame for a while now. No justifying his behavior. trolly troll troll
