I am not really fond of these lists because they are totally subjective and categories such as "influence", "legacy" etc can be interpreted in too many ways

What? If It Is not about the voice then i would like to say something ...I do not like Madonna now but I liked her before until Ray of light approximately and She absolutely deserves to be there somewhere in this list..the same for Cher...and there are some names in the list like Brandy that are ridiculous....Brandy Who? The One hit wonder of the 90s with the boy Is mine? Ridiculous..Mariah in the top ten? 😂 .She deserves to be somewhere but not in the top 10...i repeat It Is a crap list conceived to get clickbait

When will we cancel rolling stones and have people vote their own list?

:smh:

Then BTS and Tay will be top 2. 😂

Cause gaga is only Italian but Ariana is Italian American, White, Black and Asian.

If they’re talking about depth of catalog and influence on pop culture and music as they claim, then it’s a crime that Madonna not only is not on this list but should be near the top.

They didn't add any extra explanation other than what what already in the article, and what was already in the article is exactly what bugged me :oprah:

When I first opened the article, I jumped straight to list but as soon as I started scrolling, I went back to find what their criteria was and got even more confused. It's a Greatest Singers list but it's not focused on vocal talent - and yet they say they took impact, legacy, originality, depth into consideration, but many artists high on the list don't actually match that, and some who truly had a great impact on music aren't there [??]

If it’s WW singing career wise, Celine is way above Aretha :laughga:

And Madonna is probably at the top in terms of singing career success.

It's pretty cool that the top ten are all black. I don't think people acknowledge enough the impact of African Americans on not just US music but the global music scene.
