HermioneT 1,998 Posted January 1, 2023 Share Posted January 1, 2023 As a Lutheran christian and woman all I can say is ... well, it's probably better I don't say anything The Catholic church and especially it's leading figures have brought unbelievable pain to many people, damaged the whole prospect of Christian churches and have missed out on improving the world (which they absolutely have the power to do and the obligation after all what Catholic church members did). The deceased pope was one of the most powerful men in Catholicism for many years (long before he was pope) and he did nothing but preserve the old ways and the power of the Vatican.
