Maybe she doesn’t own her masters so she pulled a Taylor and re-recorded to be able to own her own version.

If that means she has her masters good for her but why if after all this time she’s able to re record it,  why she never performed it live, I know she’s not a singer but she can sing her own or are we encountering another JLo/Ashanti thing
