Meh I've never liked her voice on featured songs but she does have a point. It must be awkward to have to write the song right there in front of MADONNA of all people for her album, instead of being in your own space trying to get inspired to write something. I wonder if this is how Madonna works with everyone or it was just Nicki's experience.

Edit: Lol I forgot she was on Btch I'm Madonna, I thought she was just talking about MDNA. Yeah she wishes those were 8/10, I Don't Give A is the best of all 3 and it's not even a 5.

This happened pretty early in her career,  it would've been crazy for her to say no to a Madonna feature and performing at the super bowl

I can't stand Nicki for her extremely problematic behaviour but I think her parts on Madonna's songs are amazing lol

I agree and disagree. Sure Nicki has featured on a lot of songs, but the verses are pretty good more often than not. For the most part they work well with the song and its topic and her delivery are great. Her flow, pitch, and various styles are unmatched imo.

I don't wanna defend her but this title and the tweet caption are twisting her words for a reaction  she's not blaming everything on Madonna or being boastful about her talent or whatever. She's just talking about how she's a perfectionist and she wasn't able to 'get in the zone' and write verses she was really proud of for those songs
