Dua had a very strong start with New Rules and the hit with Calvin Harris in the United States before future nostalgia, so it gave Dua a stronger entrance into her second era. While Ava has had some hits, they havenāt been anywhere as massive in the United States. I canāt speak for her success in Europe and Asia because I wouldnāt know. Either way, Avaās debut album was good but nothing groundbreaking by any means. So far based from the snippets Iāve heard, diamonds & dancefloors sounds like itās going to be a very good album, but Iād have to listen to all the songs in entirety to really be able to say. With that being said, If Ava isnāt bringing something very new or different to the table, I donāt see this era being as huge as future nostalgia.
