I will never understand the whole covered-face-mystery-anonymous-popstar thing because back in 2008-9 when I was in high school I used to see this music video from her every weekend on the late night music channel on TV.. and the whole video is her face. I literally always knew what she looked like, and it was never hard to find

 

 

And you could argue that her face was mostly concealed... except there's this one too which is literally just her... she had a whole era before she hit huge mainstream popularity where she never concealed her face. I don't get why it was such a MYSTERY to the whole freaking world
