I always low-key felt this would happen, she even talked about her experience of living her life as a trans woman the year before she went on drag race. And of course this was back when Drag Race was very much against openly trans competitors.

It's so strange to me how much time it takes until we figure things out. I might be saying something 'controversial' here but I remember when I was a kid, I used to wish so much I was a girl, I used to hate my body because it was a male body. I didn't know what trans was or that it even existed. Even today, I feel like I got used to the male body and existence but I don't think I could like...become a woman. I'd be so afraid to carry my "flaws" as a male into my womanhood. I don't know how to explain it better haha

Good for her! I've noticed that a lot of people who first identify as non-binary end up identifying as trans. Live your truth, it's all that matters.
