And the biggest shame of it all is that Björk never won a grammy till this date. This is truly mind blowing for what she has accomplished - ever changing and keep pushing the boundaries. Her music has cleary influenced  the whole industry and pushed music much further than it has ever been. But the Grammys focus on mediocre music anyway. See Taylor or Beyonce get all the prizes so anyone is tuning in to see the show and advertisers pay higher prices.

If Kanye attacked a reporter for stalking him and his son then good for him. And good for bjork for putting sh*t people in their place. Just because reporters and paparazzi do invasive things and that we have normalized them as a society doesn't make it okay to invade people's privacy and repeatedly stalk and harass them after they told you to leave them alone multiple times. The fact that someone makes art and their art is loved by many shouldn't be a reason to treat them the way Bjork was treated when she lashed out.

as someone who works in retail, i feel nothing but sympathy for bjork. i wish i could slap some of the customers i get every day but if i did, i'd lose my job and have no money
