Reading the thread about the BTWB show in Chile that @ChicaSkas (who I believe is very interested in archiving Gaga content) and the community is working on to get hq footage from, has me thinking if there's some piece of media related to Gaga that we know of but we've never found or haven't seen in while after being deleted from a source. There was a thread on the subject a couple years ago, but I'm interested to know if anyone could add some thing new that we can help find in obscurity. Days ago, I saw recommended in my YouTube feed this performance from late 2011 in India: You can see aroun the 7:30 mark, after ending the performance of Judas, the video was cut abruptly to half of the sax solo on the bridge of The Edge Of Glory, which makes me wonder if it has ever been aired but never archived, or if the TV channel never filmed it to begin with (which I doubt). She also performed Marry The Night and Poker Face on the piano that same night but only fan recordings can be found on YouTube. Another piece that I could think about, which was mentioned on the old thread, is the only profesionally recorded performance from pre Gaga era, of No Floods at a parade. Only seconds of the airing are available, and it's unlikely that the channel filmed or archived the remaining of the performance. Can you think of any other piece of lost media from the mother monster? Anything you've been looking for but haven't been lucky on finding? Original Diva 4,940 Posted December 21, 2022 Share Posted December 21, 2022 At Gaga's Sydney Monster Hall show (which was an intimate, unique one-night-only show, and was broadcasted to television), she also performed Alejandro and Telephone, however these two numbers were NOT featured in the broadcast and we don't even know if these two were ever filmed. There are a couple short fan recordings online, but they aren't very good and I'm not sure if there are any that recorded the numbers in full. Original Diva 4,940 Posted December 21, 2022 Share Posted December 21, 2022 We also know that there is some professional footage out there of Gaga's 2007 performance at Lollapalooza (where she performed songs like Dirty Ice Cream, Fooled Me Again (Honest Eyes), Blueberry Kisses, Summerboy and Disco Heaven), however it has never been released. We don't know if it's still around or where to find it (I don't think). On Columbus Day footage -- it exists, it was all saved, but the Haus denied my request to release it. Many years ago I contacted all parties involved, the news crew, the parade organizers, Mr. G, and the Haus. All were fine with proceeding but the Haus and Mr. G said no. Out of respect, Sara and I moved no further. Even if I had been able to liscense it for GagaDaily to exclusively show the footage, it would cost --- I kid you not ---- hundreds of dollars per second in licensing fees. To pay all parties involved. Simply to view the footage cost $$$. And I had to provide all kinds of documentation, ect. To prove I wasnt gonna leak it. And I dont even own it to leak it, it's all buried in the NYC news archives. MAJOR PLOT TWIST: if anyones' Grandma in New York or New Jersey religiously taped on videocassette all the Columbus Day parades on her VCR..... that footage will be there from either 2004 or 2005. It's funny to me that The Fame Ball had multiple proshot but none of them are complete or untagged I'd die to have the Lollapalooza show It holds a special place in my heart cause that's the first full show I saw on YouTube from Gaga and it makes me so nostalgic.
