Good for her. how utterly stupid of a statement that is. she is the greatest songwriter this generation, and that didnt come from her fans. it came from adele, Songwriters Association International, The Rolling Stone, etc etc. her ability to connect to her audience through her lyrics is the reason she has such a massive and dedicated fanbase. if her art is actually boring and plain as you think then she'd been tossed aside by the public after a few years and wouldnt have built up a big fanbase, like what happened to katy perry or fergie. you're not from North America or speak english as your first language so i understand it could be difficult for you to connect with her work, but i think even you would be able to sense her captivating stage presence, hence the crazy amount of people who'd love to spend thousands to go to her shows. Ok I Will answer you without telling you that what you stated is stupid like you did to me. Ok, I understand that Adele Is a big force and Rolling Stone is a music magazine with a good reputation. Anyway I should not necessarily agree with them. Rolling Stone in the seventies or later wrote bad critics about some albums that years later are classic and get good reviews. Adele Is a good singer but her music reviews have for me the same status of my, your or of anyone else review. Just her opinion. I already stated before that perhaps to understand Taylors art you need to have english as mother tongue language. You just repeat what I said before. Anyway consider that even if Gaga or Bjork write english lyrics I do not have problem to connect. In a time where automatic Google translations are so easy Is also no problem for people coming from any part of the world. and as last remark...the statements of people who are not necessarily able to get her fascination, her charisma, her unbelievable stage presence ( your description of her ) are not necessarily stupid.
