Born This Way thoughts

After Bloody Mary got viral I am thinking quite often how much I would love to relive the Born this way era.

She was amazing, she was fierced, the fashion was on another level. Punk, goth, pop, make up, outfits.

She was everthing. Seeing how the youth reacts to Wednesaday  makes me thing that this image of the badass young adult with the dark elements would be eaten up.

Always ahead of her time. Born this way was supposed to have 9 singles, but that plan got canceled after the Marry The Night underperforance (undeserved IMO). After 11 years we got the 6th single. There are still 3 left. (Hoping for Heavy Metal Lover, Scheibe and Government Hooker, even though Americano and Bad Kids could have a shot too)

Gaga was everywhere in the media for 3 years straight and people got tired, plus believe it or not , I'm almost 30 now, society was much more critical and unfamiliar with images that now we are used to see around. Still after all this years, for me,  I havent seen any artist getting close to the superior aesthetic of born this way.

I missed this Gaga with the big nose and the pointy lips. She i getting older and settling dowν, and I accept that ( actually happy for her) , but im so so thankfull that I witness what she did back then. I only wished Ι was a bit older so I could understand a bit more her amazing mind.  I 'm happy I'm realizing more things now after all this years (her lyrics and references in Bloody Mary and Judas are just genius).

I Love you Lady Gaga, thank you for everything you 've done, do and will do. :kara:

Born This Way was a negative experience. What was supposed to be about self empowerment, instead had been taken as the interpretation of harassment. I suppose it doesn't matter. The album was meant to be using "Born This Way" to mean doing your own thing by your own direction, with your own purpose and state of mind, but "Born This Way" was a trash joke about pugilist people wanting to shove their fornicative ideas down your throat. Bit of a total ****ing embarrassment by the people who were here. I thought it could've been worth it though, but they thought Gaga was a joke.

Yes more BTW appreciation. I love this post and I also agree with everything you said. It was inspiring, badass, distinctive and uniquely Gaga! Only Gaga could have made this album/ era. Right on! :golfclap:
