thatslife 86
I saw ASIB three or four times at the cinema and countless times on DVD. I saw House of Gucci once at the cinema and probably once or twice on DVD. Less replay value for me but still enjoyable

HOG on the other hand….was hard to get through the first time and the second viewing was simply torturous Gaga didn’t save the movie for me. Yes, I enjoyed looking at my idol on the big screen, but I her acting was, in my opinion, a downgrade in many of the scenes. The accent didn’t help. I love her to death tho so dont drag me I give Gaga 8/10 for HOG, but I'm factoring in an allowance for the handicap of having to use that accent. In reality, an Italian woman having a serious conversation with her Italian husband is not going to have that conversation in English, and if she does it's going to sound clunky, so you could argue that Gaga nailed it. Fashionofhissteven 232
Ive Watched ASIB Like 15 Times Already Including The Extended Version
HotLikeMexico 5,170
Partly agree. I liked both but have been in no rush to rewatch especially A Star Is Born, it’s hard to watch towards the end.
Tyler1992 2,264
ASIB definitely is a film to watch a couple of times. The foreshadowing throughout and the little nuances make a second/third watch entertaining. For a movie with the dark themes that it has, it’s pretty impressive it has replay value. It’s also so easy to put on in the background for some noise with the music. HAUS of Gucci less so, only the performances help the movie a second/third time. But, what movie does anyone actually want to watch more than 1-2 times??

Would you have enjoyed it better if Gaga spoke Italian throughout the entire film and if subtitles were used for non-Italian speaking audience?
