Well, I cried the first 3 times watching ASIB in the cinema during ARUTW, first time alone, the other two times on a date (yes, I am the kinda bottom that drags the men into a lady gaga movie, spreading not only legs but also the good gospel). That being said, I’ve only watched the movie one more time at home to the end. Id probably watch it more, but the most compelling part of the movie is the music and well, there is streaming… HoG I watched once and it probably stays that way. I didn’t really care much for the story. Fingers crossed for Joker

they're not wrong tho, the reviews are on the mixed/positive side with almost only praise towards gaga and it would have tanked in the box office if people didn't like it cus of word of mouth, like that's just factual

I barely made it through ASIB one time. But not to Gaga’s fault. I think Gaga’s acting on both films was superb. I actually enjoyed HOG more- yes it was campy, but it was more entertaining. I would watch HOG again, but not ASIB.

A lot of people liked ASIB which is why its box office was a success. 

HOG might be another story, but there are people who enjoyed that movie too and who go back to watching it from time to time (like me) because I really enjoyed the Italian vibes from the 70s/80s

I used the "opinion" tag  I also said at the end of my post "what do you think" literally opening up a discussion for other opinions.  I also used phrasing like "not a movie I'D WATCH again" and "I WANT her to do these kind of movies" . I think it's pretty clear this is my opinion and im not speaking for all of us. isn't that implied anyways when I use the opinion tag??

I have seen ASIB many times, but it is not the type of movie to have a big replay value.

It is too emotionally triggering for me, but that only proves how good it is actually (to me).

That's ok. I'm mainly talking about the thread title you chose - probably cuz it's clickbait at its finest.  Your original post has been edited, which is why people like @BornSimon have pointed out the following at the very beginning: "So what you wanted to say was that her movies have no replay value for you."

And then I'm not only talking about you alone (or this thread in particular) but I've seen this here a lot - some people on here often forget to add this little detail when they're talking about their opinion or taste. Instead they make it look like a fact when it's not.

and I'm also not talking about whether those are rewatchable movies or not. It can be either way. Whether it is rewatchable or not is completely subjective. Some people liked ASIB while others would never watch it again... and the same goes for HOG. Some people hated it, some people liked it and others even loved it.

So everyone is entitled to their own opinion or taste, but there would be less fights if people included a "for me" or "imo"

And the OP is right, TO ME both are pretty average movies. You might love Gaga's performance, but ASIB success was mostly driven by the Gaga/Bardley combo. And HOG... Was is even successful at all?

Thank you. The thing is that I literally used the opinion tag and stated in my OP that they aren’t the kind of movies ID WATCH !!! Ppl just looking to start fights out of thin air on here just because of an unpopular opinion .

I’ve watched House of Gucci three times already. I think it’s incredibly entertaining and hilarious although the last half is a tragedy in the literal sense.

I would watch ASIB again because it’s stunning but I’m honestly terrified of it. It left me an emotional mess and I can’t go through that again.

I think she’s landed her lead roles perfectly. I strongly disagree with OP. I would never watch Machete Kills again for example.

she’s basically been in only two movies too so it’s an unfair conclusion imo.
