pinknailsemoji 183 Posted December 14, 2022 Share Posted December 14, 2022 A lot of conflict in here but as someone actually from Australia I can confirm that racism runs deep here, and while lots of artists get stuff thrown at them on stage getting a water bottle thrown is NOT the same as getting a plush toy thrown at your face. We don't have a lot of black musical artists here and it's definitely seen as more of a novel thing and the majority white audiences don't know how to act, it's really sad. Not excusing ABs problematic behaviour but what she said abt this country is right and we don't deserve to have any black international artists tour here tbh. Simular experiences were had by Burma Boy this year and Tyler the Creator so this issue isn't just her overreacting or playing the victim. no king, or court!
