Her team didnât start caring about streaming until 2017, and she was so far behind as far as streaming by that point. The Cure was her first push on streaming, especially Spotify. A Star is Born truly helped bring her into the streaming era and start pushing her streaming metrics, especially Shallow. I remember in 2017 when she was regularly around 100th for monthly listeners  She was not established in streaming at all, and things looked bleak. Her team didnât seem to care, meanwhile other artists were starting to rocket on streaming. The Cure gave the first push, then ASIB and Shallow, and then Chromatica and Rain on Me helped even more. Bloody Mary becoming her first mega-TikTok trend feels so good. I have a feeling the steams will stay pretty constant through the first half of 2023. I know Gaga will be busy with filming the Joker in 2023, but after the peak of Bloody Mary, it almost feels like a good time for Gaga to release a one-off single to help push her streaming-wise even more and help cement her with this new generation. Lady Gaga is a legend and you will deal with it 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
