Well I love H.E.R. and she deserves all the recognition she's getting, but most people and the media consider the E in EGOT to be the Primetime Emmy, not just any Emmy (Daytime in this case). Not saying that it should be that way either tho.

Also the Oscar shouldn’t be for the music but for cinema, since EGOT means you entertain in all medias

Yes ofc, shallow is kind of special and the Oscar was obvi awarded to Gaga not just for the song itself

In any case I did not talk about shallow and I did not imply something about shallow

if anything HER becoming EGOT will (imo) show how irrelevant this status is
