If you are, I’m personally not a fan of boy groups but SHINee is an amazing group that doesn’t have any of the elements I usually find annoying in K Pop boy groups (the exaggerated masculinity, emphasis on rap that mostly feels forced, little versatility with just dark and brooding concepts, all that stuff) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Boyz II Men, B2K, Code Red, FIVE, Take That, East 17, LFO, BSB, N'SYNC, BOYZONE, WESTLIFE, Caught In The Act, A1, 911, Human Nature, 98 Degrees, O-Town, BBMAK, Plus One, and so on. There was another boy band around that same time who only had one hit (in the US anyway) but I can’t remember their name. edit: it was driving me crazy so I did some googling. The band was “The Wanted” and their song was “Glad You Came”. They look like they have one of those superficial “tough guy” exteriors which I always disliked. One moment you're living your best life, then suddenly you're on Twitter threatening heads of state and stalking award show officials and their partners. Melting down and always screaming screeching and all manner of unstable behaviour. But they're quite good, especially if you play BeatSaber.
