If this was recorded before the actual version we got on the album, given the fact that it is still in the movie (the tour scene while Jackson is in the garage), that means: 1) they were planning to record the supermarket and first viral Shallow performance later during the production 2) they had a completely different spin on how Shallow was going to sound and be performed for the first time (most likely wouldn't have been a duet?) I appreciate them demos so much, such a blessing to get to hear all the hard work she's putting in building a piece for an album, used or unused, and admiring every version of it.
