I know fans say that Gaga takes forever, but she reliably churns out original music every 2-3 years and I imagine the label expects it of her too (Katy's label head was on the record saying he thought the delay hurt her sales). She released Joanne, did JWT, filmed ASIB, did ASIB soundtrack, promoted ASIB, and then released Chromatica all in a four year period, after all. Anyway, my point is I kind of think new music is coming soon. She's going to have a huge break after Joker wraps but before it premieres...and we know she's been in the studio, Benjamin Rice has referenced working on a project, and it seems unlikely that she didn't work on anything in the past three years besides TCB & finishing up the album of covers with Tony. Also, the three year anniversary of Chromatica is coming up in a couple of months.... She worked "a lot" with Hans Zimmer on Top Gun score, I wonder why, because it seems not so much material. Once it was obviously completely reworked when Gaga came on board, since originally she only wrote HMH and based on the statements, the original score was made in a hurry. Maybe they also had to rework several times since the film had re-edits? Or both had a lot of time due to the Covid lockdown and Zimmer gave a masterclass to Gaga? I really like the alternate take on some parts of the song. The PARTYNAUSEOUS demo might be the alternate version Lady Gaga talked about recording with Kendrick Lamar. It's alright, but I love the small vocal in the outro. The Lovers leak is just a more guitar driven version of the song, but I NEED to hear it in full because the second verse has a very slight trap element to it that sounds really good. I actually really like Photograph. It's an interesting take, and like with Trigger it's not a song you would expect from her at the time.
