New posthumous album by the late dj, i_o and artist, Lights

Hi all. I really felt the need to share this album with everyone here. I'm not even really sure how to start this without backstory. For those who don't know, i_o was an upcoming dj known for creating edm/ electro house/ melodic prog techno. My fave artist aside from Gaga, Lights, had done a collab ep with him in early 2020 called, AM 444 (they were very close friends as well). It became pretty successful within the edm world and personally got me through very rough times that year. 

November 23rd, 2020, we sadly suddenly lost Garrett (i_o) due to an autoimmune disease he had. Very unexpected, shocking, and devastating (he was the same age as me, 30 on the day of his passing). On the second year anniversary of his passing, Lights, Garrett's team, and his family announced/ released the final body of work that he and Lights worked on before his passing as a way to celebrate him and his incredible talents 

This album may or may not be for everyone, but it's an incredible body of work and I really wanted to share it and Garrett's story. I have not been emotionally okay even since because of how close to home a lot of this music is on top of the backstory.

For the EP, it's definitely got a very cyberpunk, late late night cruising type of vibe if you're looking for that type of experience while listening <3

Literally same ): I have barely been able to stop listening since release, crying each time. It's honestly one amazing body of work and just feels so, bittersweet. His music has always made me feel that comfort as well
