Butters Stotch 5,363
Selling signed merchandise is the first mistake. Never would I buy signedbmerchandise. Imagine someone signing sh*t for two or three hours a day just so you pay some money for it... doesn't it make you feel awful and dumb? It's disrespectful to the artist and to you. RichAssPiss 4,752
Why are they so foolish? As if they couldn't forge signatures if they really wanted to? No one could prove who each signature was made by? Having them be identical is an obvious tell. You'd think for $600 they would fake it better. I have Gaga's signed Cheek to Cheek and Joanne covers and I choose to believe she made the mark, but I will never know (and they only cost about $20). Umm...artists voluntarily charging premium for signatures is disrespectful...to them? You're paying for time and attention in these instances. It's actually fairly wholesome as labor goes. It's a tangible commodity sold for a rate, made more valuable by the increase in labor caused by making the mark.
