What about the death threats to trans people that she inspires?

She could keep her fingers to herself, but Jo chooses violences against trans people every morning. You'd think if threats of any kind of violence were actually threatening, she'd let up, no? She wants to be a pariah so bad, but she's literally the figurehead of the anti-trans movement all over the world, with thousands, if not millions of people supporting her, and it has VERY real consequences to trans people. Not the imagined violence that she weaponizing to rationalize her hate.

why are you trying to "but she does this" as if it balances it out? don't insult your own intelligence yourself, dude.

if she was so traumatised by the reaction to her transphobia then why is she being provocative? surely that's just going to make those threatening her even angrier? not a very smart idea on her behalf but then again, it's not smart to be transphobic anyway.

I'm completely agreeing with the fact Rowling is fighting the wrong fight here, but thinking she'd personally wish harm upon anyone is complete fiction. The fact she's attracting a bunch of people way more questionable than her is just unfortunate, but these are the only allies she's finding atm. I'm also fairly sure this wouldn't have turned into that big of a thing if she hadn't received that level of violence: at this point, it's obvious that the more is coming her way and the more she wants to show she's standing her ground. What would you expect from her when the literal people that could educate her are the ones that are harassing her? It just consolidates her belief that she has a point.
