Alannah 2,903 Posted November 17, 2022 Share Posted November 17, 2022 Gimme More - it's devastating knowing where her life was at the time, but it was such a power anthem and it helped me understand what "growing older" meant to a woman in the media watching as a teenager when this came out. Between Blackout and Circus, those track lists felt like my own coming of age albums. So wild to think that I was a child when she was first launched into the industry, and as much as I loved "growing more mature" with Gaga, I "grew up" with Britney. In a close second, If U Seek Amy because my mind was BLOWN that the radio stations played it as is before having to play a censored version because they didn't catch it.
