waterfall 797
*fyi im talking about songs made for movies or tv shows that a singer is asked to do for me: - love me like you do (i mean ellie was never that big and probably the biggest song that came out of that movie triology was a surprise for me... i kinda thought pray for me and idwlf was bigger till i checked the stats) - lovely (billie's most streamed song and still on Spotify Global 200) - shallow (still on Spotify Global 200 despite it being released 4 years ago ) - my heart will go on (a classic i fear) - boss b*tch (ik it only peaked at number 100 on billboard but its crazy to think its one of doja's most streamed songs with 671 mil streams on spotify) - all the stars (i thought the weeknd song on the black panther soundtrack would outstream and outsell the song ngl) and... a bop... i was listening today and clicked on the song and saw the numbers on spotify. im kinda shook cuz it never did well on the charts in the beginning but slayed with longevity and has good recurrent streams... it currently has 892 mil streams on spotify

Celloo Deng 54,972
Shallow's huge success was such a pleasant surprise. Also, Bored (from 13 Reasons Why) by Billie. StrawberryBlond 14,836
We Don't Talk About Bruno is surprising to me as it's such a strange song with so many singers, sometimes even all singing in unison. It's not bad by any means but it's so kooky and weird and clearly wasn't made to be a commercial chart hit and yet, it's now one of the most massive Disney songs ever and has become a massive part of the public consciousness, even for those who haven't watched the movie. It probably stands the biggest chance at an Oscar, let's be real.
