Should Gaga do a "Homecoming" style Coachella performance?

Op's idea sounds better suited to a Vegas residency. It sounds like so very much work for 1 show. But maybe for a few shows, better ROI .

That's not true. Her surprise set in 2020 would not have been a headline set, it was going to be a surprise mini set, probably at a smaller stage, similar to what Madonna did at Coachella during the Confessions era.

It's also worth mentioning that no act has ever headlined Coachella more than once, except for The Weeknd who was a last minute replacement for Kanye West.

I want her do something with storyline. That's where she shines.

Yoncé did what she did cos the history with black marching band culture in the USA. That's her thing, to celebrate and lift up her people since she can with her platform.

So I feel like, Gaga will be better to do something else that inspires her too, than doing what's already been don, and done perfectly at that.

The pomp was bc she was tying her music to a larger HBCU big band tradition lmao and also lbr Gaga’s whole thing is show and showmanship. That’s like a defining quality of her art!
