I liked almost every song except for Missed Call, and Closed ((think I need a bit more time with those 2) my faves are: Raven, Fooley, Bruises, Sorbet, Contact, Enough for Love but literally all the other songs are AT LEAST an 8/10 for me Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

XXEENN 1,021 Posted February 11, 2023 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I love it, but I'm kind if biased - I've been a big fan for a long time and this album was very anticipated. I love the UK Garage, 90's/00s house sounds, I like that it's not overproduced while still having very interesting and solid production. Her voice is amazing as always. I read a few reviews which were mostly positive, however some have a problem with the album sounding more ambient than needed which I kind of agree with - towards the end some of the songs could come off very similar sounding. Regardless, we do have solid standalone songs with a more straightforward kind of pop structure - Happy Ending, On the Run, Missed Call, Contact and Enough for Love. I really enjoyed Raven flowing into Bruises as well. Currently my jam is Closure, it's so sexy. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
