News sources are saying that Iran has issued the first death sentence and the parliament has voted for a ‘hard punishment’ for all rebels. Currently 15,000 people have been detained and they all could face similar sentences but currently there has been only one death sentence issued. Im sorry for the mistake. 

Iran's court has issued the first death sentence for a rioter.

The nationwide protests started after Mahsa Amini was murdered by the morality police for improper hijab. 

They are doing this to 'teach a lesson' to the people. 

More than 15,000 people have been detained. Most of them being young people including students and journalists

All the people detained could have similar sentences. Its a rule for them to r*pe virgin girls and women before executing them so that 'they cannot enter heaven.'

Viola Davis posted on Instagram and according to her post all 15K people have been given the death sentence.

Apparently the Parliament has signed the bill that would allow the execution of more than 15,000 people who took part in women's right protests as a 'hard punishment' for all rebels. The UN needs to intervene this needs to be stopped. Please share it as much as you can and spread the word.

This needs to be stopped. I hope and pray that massive worldwide protests start against this in support of the protesters. Spread the word. Tag news outlets, share in your whatsapp groups or on other social media. Tag politicians. UN needs to intervene

I despise these morally bankrupt ignorant sacks of garbage “leaders.” They are delusional idiots thinking they are the righteous ones, when they are even thinking of executing people and even doing that to women. They are such miserable pieces of sh it. My heart goes out to the people of Iran.

omg the part about r*pe what the hell is wrong with these monsters how come millions of people [the regime and its supporters, the mullahs etc] can agree to this?

How the hell are they going to go on and execute this verdict? 15k people! They basically said to all their people to either shush or die - I only hope people of Iran can topple this tyrannic illegitimate regime asap and with minimal losses.

As a person from the region often times people from the developed country listen to our tales of oppression with a mixture of sympathy and pity - they see us, people who wish for democracy in the Middle-East, as an enlightened minority and dreamers. The least you can do is to tell people around you that the people of Iran understand and deserve democracy as much as anyone in the West. Please, please spread the news around and thank you for caring. (Assuming you're from a developed country.)

I dont know much but i guess we can spread it everywhere so worldwide protests start happening to help them and to force UN to intervene and take action

Iran seems like a dystopian nation. 

I hope the protestors succeed in removing these hardline maniacs.

That said, I hate some of the Western media portrayal of this. This movement is not an ANTI HIJAB movement at its core. It is a FREEDOM of CHOICE and pro democracy protest. Tons of the protestors are actually religious or wear the hijab themselves BUT they want their nation to have freedom of choice where if someone does not want to believe they can choose not to and not be persecuted or that they can wear the hijab in any way they want to and not be abused by "morality police" who attack you for wearing it wrong. 

Basically these people want basic AUTONOMY over themselves. Tons of Iranians I know are upset that this is being framed as anti religion or anti hijab because even if they are atheist or anti hijab themselves they do not want ppl to have to be forced to not wear it either in case a revolution does succeed. My Iranian friend (who prefers to be called a Persian instead) is 100% atheist, does not believe in faith but said in order for this movement to work long term Iranians need to understand that the conservatives in their nation also need to be heard. She said her ideal situation for Iran would be for it to be similar to a country like Turkey or other Eastern European nations, where conservative values are STILL respected but if you choose not to follow them you do not get killed or punished. Basically think of Balkan nations and Turkey as that example. Not ideal for us in the West BUT MUCH better than Iran's current situation.

Holy ****, this is a GENOCIDE!

Most of these people are below the age of 24! What a genocidal regime. The world must intervene beyond the hollow condemnations/tweets. This cannot be allowed to happen.
