im not saying everyone whos from the south region is nazi, youre the one assuming this. but its quite interesting that so many people that support bolsonaro constantly do things that are so so so similar to nazi imagery, isnt it? and lets not lie to ourselves, the south region unfortunately is full of nazi apologists or straight up nazi. I do think most people that are supporting these ideas dont actually are nazi, but the fact that presenting them proof that what they were told to do is wrong and yet tey create million of excuses to keep defending it is quite strange at least (just like youre doing right now)

Yes, as ive said in other posts in this very thread, Lulas government was involved in countless corruption cases, and to think hes innocent is playing dumb. But id rather vote for him than to vote for a hateful disgusting person like bolsonaro, that in 4 years did as much corruption lula did in 12. Not also mentioning how he destroyed the health system, education system, infrastructure system, justice system and is leaving the country with a 400 billion debt.

And the cultural problem as well, since he incentivted many closet monsters to really show who they are, cuz people nowadays dont care to hide how racist, mysoginistic and lgbtphobic

But oh no, poor @Fernando, now he'll live in Venezuela. This might be so sad:omg:

Except that we already are living on a venezuela. You probably are detached from reality, but believe me, there is misery in brazil under bolsonaro government. Yes, there are! How shocking isnt it?

I guess you might live with privilege, but people are eating trash, theyre rummaging through trash to look for rotten meat or bones to have at least something to eat!

As for dictators, bolsonaro was the one who had a meeting with putin and refused to condemn him or to acknowledge that he was the one who started the war

So you prefer to vote for a dictatorship supporter whose corruption prevented millions of people from having good healthcare system, education and food ? That’s sad. So Lula is a saint and support minorities? Take a look at what he said about lesbians, feminists, gays from Pelotas, etc. oh such a saint! Such a savior, right? The case with the flag is plain simple: those people were showing respect for a national symbol. It has nothing to do with Nazi (even tho there r surely bigoted people from both sides and certainly Nazi supporters there too). Now I have a question for you: do u think it’s right to use the symbols of Communism? An idea that lead to the death and torture of millions of people or is ur anger selective just because it suis ur narrative?

Populism is brazil's problem (and many other countries as well), both lula and bolsonaro uses it and both are evil for this, but at least one did things that benefited the population and it was lula. what bolsonaro did? the only good thing i remember is allowing people to invest on international stocks, but even tho its good, lets be real, it only benefits people with money

It was decades ago. bolsonaro keeps doing this as of today, and again, lula government was responsible for the creation of many of the laws that protect the rights of these minorities nowadays. bolsonaro encouraged disgusting people to not be ashamed of doing these crimes, and why would they? he defunded and corrupted the justice and police so much that these people are actually treated as heroes

even if thats the case, its not the first time that something like this happens. a minister of him needed to be fired after basically copy pasting a literal nazi speech from the 40s. and youre obviously playing stupid or lying to yourself denying this but im not impressed. its the most common thing among neofascists and neonazi, doing things that are obviously symbolism of these atrocious movements but when people come for them they try to act as if the accusers are the crazy ones since they were just "doing regular movements and it was all a coincidence" just like that one member of his government that did the OK symbol.

communism was a disgusting government indeed, and even tho they commited atrocities, the basic ideologies were never based on persecution to social groups like the nazi did. i do think is bizarre how people act as communist states are wonderful when in fact its not, as example: venezuela and cuba. but this doesnt give you the permission to excuse nazis, even tho you seem to be so ready to defend them here, which is kind of weird, ngl

And now leaving all these ideologies aside, bolsonaro was objectively the worst thing to happen to this country since the redemocratization (funnily enough as hes constantly defending the cause of why brazil needed one). He IS responsible for 400k of the covid deaths brazil had, and thats a fact, its not a theory, its not a probability. By delaying the deal to buy the vaccines, using the excuse of ideology when in fact he just wanted to make the one deal where he could steal more money, he was the responsible for this.

He also made the country a well known joke, as his ministers and himself were currently insulting and picking fights with other world leaders, like Emmanuel Macron.

He authorized a law, the secret budget, that is probably the biggest corruption scheme in brazil's history (even bigger than the Mensalão:udidnt:)

But lemme ask you, afterall i didnt have the chance yet, why do you think his government was better? what did he do that you think turned the country on a better place? i see no reason really, but even the more deluded mind might have one. So which is yours?

I loooove when people say "You're gonna turn this country into Venezuela!" 'cause it happened here too, yet they've increased the salary for workers, the number of people with a job increases every month and companies are having the same or even better results every year :billie:

The misinformation on this thread :triggered:

You guys are supporting a criminal thinking you're slaying when his government ruined the whole country for 13 years and the corruption has been so good for powerful people that they got him back in power

Most of you are basing your opinions on some tweets and reddit topics when South American politics are far more intricate than that
