But comparing any artist to Swift might be unfair since she's on a whole other level. i think a sophomore album being successful has a lot more to lose than an established artist like gaga, who still managed to get her no.1 album and single it was tough to see other artists engage in promo during the pandemic but i think gaga took it super seriously, considering her family was affected by it. i think witnessing it happen so close to her made her want to protect her whole crew instead of taking the risk but that doesn't really excuse the ability to still engage with fans through the internet to keep them hyped and entertained like how cute would it be if she did piano covers of the songs from her home with instagram lives? mother, what must i do? I think she's definitely better at singing and music in general than she is at acting, i.e. she is an elite level singer and musical artist, whereas she is just a good actress (with potential to get better). I would understand if she would however, seeing as her acting career seems to be getting bigger and bigger, but I feel like Gaga as she often says will always be making music and performing.
