It doesn't make the album less deserving or other albums more deserving simply because it's the album that as attention right now. If people enjoy it and prefer to listen to it then just...let them? Another album will come along that'll be the focus of attention. If you wanna listen to other albums then go listen to them, we don't need to be sitting here having the pointless "but this should be getting more" conversation because it really changes nothing. It's not pointless since it gives some light to non-commercial artists who aren't pushed by medias much. Mainly since those wait for Tay or Bey to make indie records to give exposure to indie music. That's the only change people looked for here. @Vincem Hold the girl ofc. Kelela's new music is great yet 95% of people will never hear it.
